AIM Mission
As followers of Jesus we make it our ambition to please Him. We are committed to the belief that AIM is one way to experience and fulfill our commission to be disciples and to make disciples. We are AIMing to know our Lord. We are AIMing to serve His church. We are AIMing to go and preach the gospel to a lost world.
Message from the Dean of Missions
Would you love to begin on a lifetime adventure by preparing yourself to be like Jesus, to know and live His word, to serve others and to spread His "good news" around the world? If this adventure sounds interesting to you, let me challenge you to take a closer look at Adventures In Missions (AIM).
AIM has been used by God for more than a quarter century to prepare young men and women for a lifetime adventure! Our vision is to be like Jesus. We want to learn to be like Him and to teach others to do the same. To do this we must know His word and be willing to live it. Jesus teaches us that if we are His disciples we will bear fruit. The most exciting part of this life-long adventure is telling others about Jesus and seeing them come to know Him because you took the step and started the adventure.
I talk to missionaries from all around the world and they are constantly saying "Please, send me an AIM team. There are so many people here that need to hear about Jesus." From California to Slovakia, from Russia to Ecuador, people are calling "Come over and help us!" Will you listen to the call? Will you answer the call? Will you begin the challenge of a life-long adventure?
At any given time there are around 40-70 "AIMers" that are aiming on various fields all around the world. You can find a list of the current teams elsewhere on this site. Please send them a note of encouragement. Jesus told us to "go into all the world" -- will you be a part of the army who is answering that call?
Still AIMing,
Jay Jarboe
